The wedding Industry is also said to be affected because of the Oil Spill that took place at The Gulf Of Mexico. Many weddings were planned next to the beach and many preparations had already begun. After the major oil spill many have backed out which have made people loose money as they had spent a lot on the preparations.
June Watkins, a non-denominational minister normally does 40 weddings a year and most of them are during the summer, but now she has no reservations. A fear of severe headaches being caused because of the smell is brought up.People should understand that the government and BP are trying their best to solve this accident. People should stop being picky and they should hence plan their weddings at other exotic places.
There is a lot more than beaches in this world and since nothing can be done now because of the oil spill they should accept the fact that beaches wont be a good idea. The weddings can still be organist near a beach but then the ceremony preparation can take place away from the beach. The hotels nearby should send workers to clean up the oil washed away on the beach so that at least when the tourists come they can relax on the beach but not go in the water.
